Use classes created in MDM in Classroom
After your IT administrator has successfully configured the school’s mobile device management (MDM) solution, you can begin using existing classes to be used with Classroom.
Prepare students in a one-to-one iPad deployment
Make sure students can use their iPad to sign in to iCloud with their Managed Apple ID or their personal Apple ID.
Prepare students who use Mac computers
Make sure students can use their Mac to sign in to iCloud with their Managed Apple ID or their personal Apple ID.
Select a class
Open the Classroom app
on your Mac or iPad.Select the class you want to conduct.
After you select a class, you can guide the student experience.
Assign multiple students to Shared iPad
In Classroom
, select Classes in the sidebar, then select a class.Select the students or group that will be assigned an iPad.
Select
, then select the device group to assign the students or group to an iPad in that device group.
Assign a single student to Shared iPad
In Classroom
, select Classes in the sidebar, then select a class.Select the student from All Students.
Select
