Update Apple School Manager to use OAuth 2.0 with Infinite Campus
On July 1, 2023, Infinite Campus will require OAuth 2.0. Your organization might be connected to Infinite Campus using the older version, OAuth 1.0.
Important: If no action is taken by June 30, 2023, Apple School Manager will stop updating classes, students, and instructors with your data from Infinite Campus.
Migrate OneRoster from OAuth 1 to OAuth 2
Go to the OneRoster Migration Instructions, select the task that matches your current connection method, then complete the migration steps.
Complete the task below, “Update the Infinite Campus connection.”
If necessary, complete the task below, Manually resync Apple School Manager with Infinite Campus.
Update the Infinite Campus connection
In Apple School Manager
, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator, Site Manager, or People Manager.Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, select Preferences
, then select Directory Sync 
.Select Edit next to Student Information System.
Update the following:
The Infinite Campus Base URL to the Infinite Campus Base URL for OAuth 2 (provided in the Infinite Campus server).
Note: This requires OneRoster v1.1 API URL.
The Client ID (previously called Key).
The Client Secret
Select Save.
Manually resync Apple School Manager with Infinite Campus
In Apple School Manager
, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator, Site Manager, or People Manager.Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Preferences
, select Directory Sync .Select Edit next to Student Information System.
Select Refresh.
