Share songs from Music with other apps on Mac
You can share a variety of content on Apple Music including songs, albums, radio stations, and playlists from Music through apps like Mail and Messages. Or you can copy a link or HTML code, which will open the item in Apple Music on the web.
In the Music app on your Mac, find a song, album, or playlist in your library or an item (such as a radio station) in Apple Music.
Select the item, then click the More button .
Choose Share, then choose any of the sharing options:
Copy Link: Copies the link to the Clipboard. When you click the link, the music opens in Apple Music on the web.
AirDrop: Copies the link so you can send it to a nearby Mac, iPhone, or iPad. When the link is accepted on the device, the music opens in Apple Music.
Mail: Copies the link to an email you can send.
Messages: Copies the link to a text message you can send.
Notes: Copies the link to an existing or new note.
Reminders: Copies the link to a new reminder.
Copy Embed Code: Copies the HTML code to the Clipboard. You can paste this code into a webpage, for example, and when you click the link, the music opens in Apple Music on the web.
Not all options described above appear for all items.
