Access your scripts using the Script menu
You can use the Script menu in the menu bar to easily access your scripts.
The Script menu already contains many useful scripts.
Some features of the Script menu:
You can use aliases in the script menu, including aliases to remote computers.
The Script menu supports applets, droplets, and uncompiled scripts.
Once the Script menu is turned on, it is always available in the menu bar.
Show the Script menu in the menu bar
Choose Script Editor > Preferences, then click General.
Select the “Show Script menu in menu bar” checkbox, and make sure the “Show Computer scripts” checkbox is selected.
The Script menu appears on the right side of the menu bar.
Open items from the Script menu
Click the Script menu in the menu bar, then choose a script.
Add your own scripts to the Script menu
Copy your scripts into the Scripts folder, located in the Library folder on your startup disk.
