Join Apple Music using iTunes on Mac
Apple Music provides access to millions of songs and videos. As an Apple Music subscriber, you can:
Play songs, TV shows, movies and music videos on up to 10 computers and devices.
Download songs and videos so that you can listen to them even when you’re not online.
Get recommendations for new music based on your musical tastes, which you can fine-tune anytime.
See what Apple Music contributors are listening to and subscribe to their playlists.
Play Apple Music radio—stations created by experts that you can listen to all day.
Discover new music with friends by sharing your playlists and the music you’re listening to.
Manage your Apple Music settings such as notifications.
In the iTunes app on your Mac, sign in using your Apple ID if you’re not already signed in.
If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one during set-up.
Choose Music from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click For You.
Click Try it Now, then follow the onscreen instructions.
When you join Apple Music as a new subscriber, the subscription is free for a trial period.
At the end of the trial period, your subscription is renewed monthly. For information about turning off automatic renewal, see the Apple Support article View, change or cancel your subscriptions.
Any items in your music collection that aren’t available in Apple Music are automatically uploaded to iCloud, so you can access them from your other computers and devices.
