If you can’t eject a disk because another user is using it on Mac
If you want to eject a disk or storage device from your Mac but other people are using it, do any of the following:
Log out the users who are using the disk or storage device, then try to eject the item again.
If you can’t log out a user, log in as that user, then try to eject the item.
