Use HomePod with Mac
AirPlay lets you stream content, such as music and podcasts, from many apps on your Mac to your HomePod.
Make sure your Mac and HomePod are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Open an app on your Mac that can stream content.
Click the AirPlay button (available only if your HomePod or another external device is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac).
The AirPlay button looks like or , depending on the app.
Select the checkbox next to your HomePod in the list of devices, then choose some content to stream from your Mac.
Note: If you choose your HomePod from the “Switch to” list, you can change and control the source of the audio playing through your HomePod, such as Apple Music, from the Music window.
Thanks for your feedback.
