View your website passwords and related info on Mac
You can view and manage the passwords for your website accounts.
View your password for a website account
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Passwords in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the Info button for the website.
Place the pointer over the series of dots next to Password on the right.
Add notes to a website account
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Passwords in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the Info button for the website.
Click Add Notes.
Enter details about the account, such as your answers to security questions, in the Notes field.
Click Save.
Change a password or passkey
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Passwords in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the Info button for the website.
Click Change Password on Website.
Hide a password security recommendation
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Passwords in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click the Info button for the website.
Click the Close button in the top-right corner of the window, then click Hide.
The recommendation appears below Hidden Security Recommendations in the list of websites.
