Change Live Captions settings for accessibility on Mac
On your Mac, use Live Captions (Beta) settings to turn Live Captions on or off, control how captions are styled, and turn them on or off in FaceTime. Learn how to use Live Captions.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Live Captions (Beta) on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)

Note: Live Captions is currently in beta. Live Captions is only available on Mac computers with Apple silicon, and is not available in all languages, countries, or regions. The accuracy of Live Captions may vary and should not be relied upon in high-risk or emergency situations.

Font family | Choose a font for live captions. Use the default or choose a preferred font from the list. |
Font size | Increase or decrease the text size of live captions. |
