Change Screen Time Content & Privacy Stores preferences on Mac

Use the Stores pane of Screen Time Content & Privacy preferences to restrict purchases.

To change these preferences on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Screen Time, select Content & Privacy in the sidebar, then click Stores.

Option				Description
Content & Privacy Restrictions				Turn content & privacy restrictions on or off: Turn on content & privacy restrictions: Click the Turn On button. Turn off content & privacy restrictions: Click the Turn Off button.
Ratings for				Click the pop-up menu to choose the country or region to use for movie, TV show, and app ratings.
Allowed Content				Click the pop-up menus to choose allowed rating levels for movies, TV shows, and apps. Movies: Click the pop-up menu, then choose Allow All Movies, Don’t Allow Movies, or a specific rating level used in the country or region you selected. TV Shows: Click the pop-up menu, then choose Allow All TV Shows, Don’t Allow TV Shows, or a specific rating level used in the country or region you selected. Apps: Click the pop-up menu, then choose Allow All Apps, Don’t Allow Apps, or a specific rating level used in the country or region you selected. Select checkboxes to allow other types of content: Explicit Books Explicit Music, Podcasts & News Leave the checkboxes unselected to restrict these types of content.
Allow on iOS				Select checkboxes to allow actions on an iOS or iPadOS device: Installing Apps Deleting Apps In-app Purchases Leave the checkboxes unselected to restrict these actions.
Require Password				Select a password option for making purchases: Always Require: A password is required for each purchase. Require after 15 minutes: A password is required for a purchase. After 15 minutes elapses, the password must be entered again for additional purchases.
