Set or change parental controls in Apple Music on the web
You can restrict access to explicit content in Apple Music using the Parental Controls settings.
Set content restrictions
Go to music.apple.com .
Click the My Account button (it looks like a photo or monogram) in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.
You may be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.
Below Parental Controls, click the switch to turn on Content Restrictions.
Enter a four-digit passcode to prevent changes to the restrictions you set, then click Continue.
You need to reenter the passcode to verify it.
Enter a recovery email address that can be used if you forget the passcode, then click Continue.
Click the pop-up menus to choose allowed ratings for music, TV shows, and movies.
Change content restrictions
Go to music.apple.com .
Click the My Account button (it looks like a photo or monogram) in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.
You may be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.
Below Parental Controls, enter your four-digit passcode.
If you can’t remember your passcode, click Forgot Passcode, then check the recovery email address for instructions to reset the passcode.
To make changes to the Parental Controls section, do any of the following:
Change content restrictions: Click the pop-up menus to choose allowed ratings for music, TV shows, and movies.
Change the recovery email: Click Edit, enter a new email address, then click Continue.
Change the passcode: Click Change Passcode, enter the current passcode, enter a new passcode, then click Continue.
You need to reenter the new passcode to verify it.
Turn off content restrictions: Click the switch to turn off restrictions.
