Choose a screen size in QuickTime Player on Mac

1. In the QuickTime Player app on your Mac, open a video or audio file.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Choose View > Actual Size. The movie is displayed at its source size (not zoomed in or out).

   • Choose Window > Fit to Screen. The movie is scaled to fit your screen.

To increase or decrease the movie window size, choose Window > Increase Size or Window > Decrease Size.

1. In the QuickTime Player app on your Mac, open a video or audio file.

2. Choose View > Enter Full Screen. The movie fills your entire screen and the menu bars aren’t visible.

3. To change how the movie is scaled while in full-screen view, do one of the following:

   • Choose Window > Fill Screen. The movie is scaled and cropped to completely fill your screen in at least one dimension. This can eliminate black areas on the top (letter boxing) or side (pillar boxing), but may hide or distort the content.

   • Choose Window > Panoramic. The movie is scaled to fit your screen, and the outer horizontal edges are compressed to avoid cropping the image.

To enter full-screen view, you can also click in the top-left corner of the window. To exit full-screen view, press the Esc (Escape) key. See Use apps in full screen and Use apps in Split View.

If you play a spatial video that was taken on Apple Vision Pro or iPhone, you can choose how the video appears on your Mac.

1. In the QuickTime Player app on your Mac, open a spatial video.

2. Chose View > Spatial Video > Display as Spatial Video.

3. Do one of the following:

   • Choose Both Eyes Side by Side to see the two videos play next to each other.

   • Choose Left Eye or Right Eye to only show one video.
