Import Final Cut Pro for iPad projects created on another iPad
You can import Final Cut Pro for iPad projects that were created on another iPad, so you can open and edit projects created by others, or edit on multiple devices.
Import a Final Cut Pro for iPad project using AirDrop
Open Final Cut Pro on the iPad you want to transfer from, then do one of the following:
From the Projects screen, select a project in the list on the left, tap above the video preview, then tap Final Cut Pro for iPad Project.
With a project open, tap in the toolbar, then tap Final Cut Pro for iPad Project.
If you want to include all the video clips, audio clips, and photos you imported into your project (even if you haven’t added some of them to the timeline), make sure Include All Media is turned on; to export an offline project (with no media), turn off Include All Media.
Tap Export.
In the list of export and sharing destinations, tap AirDrop, then tap the device you want to send the project to; when you’re finished, tap Done.
If the iPad doesn’t appear automatically, make sure AirDrop is turned on on both devices in Control Center.
On the iPad you want to transfer to, tap Accept when an AirDrop alert appears.
If Final Cut Pro is installed on the device, the Projects screen opens automatically, and the project appears in the project list.
