Change Extensions preferences on Mac
On your Mac, use Extensions System Preferences to enable and disable Apple and third-party Mac extensions. Extensions, such as Markup, add extra functionality to apps, the Finder and the Touch Bar.
You can also select extensions to include in the Share menu, and select widgets for Today view in Notification Centre.
To change these preferences, choose Apple menu 
> System Preferences, then click Extensions.

Option | Description |

All | Extensions you installed on your Mac. These are extensions created by third-party developers. If the extension is a content extension that enables extra functionality in apps, you see an Actions tickbox below the extension. If it’s a Finder extension, you see a Finder tickbox. Select the tickbox to enable the extension. |
Actions | Content extensions installed on your Mac. Select a content extension to make it available in apps. For example, if Markup is selected, you can draw on pictures and sign documents in apps such as Mail, TextEdit or Preview. |
Photos Editing | Photos extensions installed on your Mac, such as Markup. Select a Photos extension to make it available in Photos while editing photos. |
Quick Look | Quick Look extensions installed on your Mac, such as Markup. |
Share Menu | Select the sharing extensions to include in the Share menu (available from the Share button

Today | Select widgets, such as Now Playing, to include in Today view in Notification Centre. You can also show or hide widgets directly in Today view. |
Finder | Select extensions that you want to access from the Quick Actions shortcut menu on the desktop, in the Finder and the Finder Preview pane. See Perform quick actions in the Finder. |
Touch Bar | If your Mac has a Touch Bar, select extensions that you want to access from it, if you set options for the Touch Bar to show Quick Actions or added the Quick Actions button to the Touch Bar. |
