The shortcut bar appears on iPad above the keyboard. Buttons on the shortcut bar in Numbers let you cut, copy, paste, and duplicate text. You can also add bold, italics, and an underline to text.

If you don’t see the shortcut bar, go to Settings > General > Keyboards, then turn Shortcuts on.
