Change Store Restrictions settings in Screen Time on Mac

Use Store Restrictions settings in Screen Time to restrict purchases.

To change these settings on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Screen Time in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the Family Member pop-up menu and choose a family member (if you’re a parent/guardian in a Family Sharing group), click Content & Privacy, then click Store Restrictions.

Allowed Content	Choose allowed rating levels for movies, TV shows and apps. Movies: Click the pop-up menu, then choose Allow All, Don’t Allow, or a specific rating level used in your country or region. TV Programmes: Click the pop-up menu, then choose Allow All, Don’t Allow, or a specific rating level used in your country or region. Apps: Click the pop-up menu, then choose Allow All, Don’t Allow, or a specific rating level used in your country or region. Allow other types of content: Explicit Books Explicit Music, Podcasts and News Music Videos Turn any option off to restrict that type of content.
Allowed on iOS	Allow actions on an iOS or iPadOS device: Installing Apps Deleting Apps In-app Purchases Turn the options off to restrict these actions.
Password & Security	Require a password for making purchases: Always: A password is required for each purchase. After 15 Minutes: A password is required for a purchase. After 15 minutes elapse, the password must be entered again for additional purchases.
