Change window tiling settings on Mac

Window tiling is available in macOS Sequoia 15 or later. You can use Desktop & Dock settings to turn several window tiling options on or off.

The Windows section of Desktop & Dock settings.

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Desktop & Dock in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Open Desktop & Dock settings for me
Go to Windows.
Turn any of the following options on or off:
- “Drag windows to screen edges to tile”
- “Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen”
- “Hold ⌥ key while dragging windows to tile”
- “Tiled windows have margins”
