Use Siri to run shortcuts with your voice
You can ask Siri to run any shortcut in your My Shortcuts collection. Siri can launch shortcuts from your iOS device, as well as from HomePod or Apple Watch (as long as the shortcut doesn’t include an action that opens an app).
Run a shortcut with Siri
Summon Siri on your iOS device, HomePod, or Apple Watch, then say the name of a shortcut, such as “Get info about current song.”
If Siri misunderstands you, tap , then repeat the name of the shortcut.
After running the shortcut, Siri tells you the result.
When your device is locked and you run a shortcut that opens an app, Siri will ask you to unlock your device before continuing.
Note: If the shortcut’s name is the same as a standard Siri command (for example, “What time is it?”) Siri runs the shortcut instead of the standard command.
