Change Content Restrictions settings in Screen Time on Mac
Use Content Restrictions settings in Screen Time to restrict access to certain types of content, such as web content or in Game Center.
To change these settings on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Screen Time in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the Family Member pop-up menu on the right and choose a family member (if you’re using Family Sharing), click Content & Privacy, then click Content Restrictions.
Limit Adult Websites: Automatically limits access to many adult websites. Click Customise to enter additional allowed or restricted websites.
To specify allowed websites, click the Add button below the Allowed list, enter the website URL, then click Done.
To specify restricted websites, click the Add button below the Restricted list, enter the website URL, then click Done.
To remove an allowed or restricted website, select the website, then click the Remove button below the list it’s in.
To change the URL of an allowed or restricted website, select the website, click the Edit button below the list it’s in, edit the URL, then click Done.
Allowed Websites Only: Only allowed websites can be accessed. Click Customise to view the list of default allowed websites, and to add or remove allowed websites.
To specify an allowed website, click the Add button below the list, enter the website title and URL, then click Done.
To remove an allowed website, select the website, then click the Remove button below the list.
To change a website title and URL, select the website in the list, click the Edit button below the list, edit the title and URL, then click Done.
Siri
Allow the following types of Siri content:
Explicit Language in Siri and Dictionary
Web Search Content in Siri
Turn off any of the above to restrict this type of content.
Music & TV
Allow the following types of content:
Music Profiles
Music & TV Shared Libraries
Turn off any of the above to restrict this type of content.
Game Center
Allow the following actions in Game Center:
Adding Friends
Connect with Friends
Private Messaging
Avatar & Nickname Changes
Profile Privacy Changes
Turn off any of the above to restrict this type of action.
Multiplayer Games
Specify the people a child can play games with in Game Center:
Allow multiplayer games with: Allow the child to play multiplayer games with everyone, only with friends added to their Game Center account or no one.
Allow Nearby Multiplayer: Let the child play multiplayer games with players on the same local network (for example, players connected to the same Wi-Fi network or who are located within Bluetooth range).
