Resize objects in Keynote for iCloud
You can resize an object freely to modify its proportions any way you like, or proportionally, to make it smaller or larger without changing its essential shape. You can also set it to have specific dimensions.
Note: If the object is a table, you can’t change its size as described in this task. Instead, you need to resize rows or columns to make the table larger or smaller.
Select an object.
If you don’t see selection handles (for most objects, blue dots around the object), the object is locked; you must unlock it before you can resize it.
To choose whether the object resizes freely or proportionally, click Arrange at the top of the Format sidebar on the right, then do one of the following:
Resize freely: Make sure the “Constrain proportions” checkbox (below Size) is deselected.
Resize proportionally: Make sure the “Constrain proportions” checkbox (below Size) is selected.
Note: In Keynote for iCloud, grouped objects can only be resized proportionally. In Keynote on a Mac, iPhone, or iPad, you can freely resize most groups of objects.
Do one of the following:
Resize an object manually: Drag a selection handle.
Resize an object to specific dimensions: Click Arrange at the top of the Format sidebar on the right, then below Size, enter values in the Width and Height fields (or use the arrows).
