Stop using, reactivate, or delete a Hide My Email address on iCloud.com

If you create an email address with Hide My Email on iCloud.com or on an Apple device but you want to stop using it, you can go to the iCloud+ Features page on iCloud.com to deactivate it.

You can reactivate the address at any time or permanently delete any inactive addresses you no longer need.

Stop using an address created with Hide My Email

Go to icloud.com/icloudplus, sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary), then click Hide My Email.
Tip: If you’re already on iCloud.com, you can also click in the toolbar, then click Hide My Email.
Select the email address you want to stop using.
Click “Deactivate email address,” then follow the onscreen instructions.

When you stop using a unique, random address, any emails sent to that address are returned to the sender.

Reactivate an inactive address

Go to icloud.com/icloudplus, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Click Hide My Email.
Scroll to the bottom of the list, then select an address below “[number] inactive email address(es).”
Click “Reactivate address,” then follow the onscreen instructions.

Delete an inactive address

You can only delete inactive addresses.

Important: Deleting an address created with Hide My Email is permanent, and it’s deleted on all your devices set up for Hide My Email. You cannot reactivate the address.

Go to icloud.com/icloudplus, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Click Hide My Email.
Scroll to the bottom of the list, then select an address below “[number] inactive email address(es).”
Click “Delete address,” then follow the onscreen instructions.
