This image is quite striking and emotional, I really love the colors you chose to work into it. The feeling of lonliness and despair is palpable.
You might want to add some smaller feathers near the area where the wing meets the back, it could use just a little more blending there. Also, you might want to add a few smaller trails and drops of blood down from the main wound to further incorporate the blood into the picture.
