Since 2014, the European Commission has been collecting data on postal services in cooperation with the postal national regulatory authorities of participating countries in the context of the 'EU Postal Survey'. The aim of these postal statistics is to provide a single source of information and become an analytical working tool for all possible users of postal data at the European level.
The data is collected annually from 31 countries that participate in the data collection exercise on a voluntarily basis including EU countries, North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland and Norway.
