it's official.... I'm in love <3

Seriously, good. I got into the art school I want to go to.. and now that I no longer am required to do art, whats the first thing I do? Art. for fun. So if anyone wants to model for me...  the big wide world is becoming a reality. One of the best realizations of this year is that, if you dont like some situation, you can just walk away. But anyways... Senior recital soon, I gotta prepare, and music is awesome right now in general. I'm excited to be recording soon, with a few really talented musicians. I'm so blessed with such great and talented friends.

During the process of applying to college, I am constantly being asked to reflect on my year, my life and what I have learned. Here are some of my most recent ramblings....

Tranquility, inner peace, and Enlightenment. I have been blessed with challenges that have shown me who I could really be. I have learned so much through this magnificent shared experience called Life.  After coming face to face with serious events, having to make serious choices, it puts your  whole life in perspective.  I am so lucky to have learned from those that I have lost. I have learned honesty, humility,  and that I truly value morals.  I am so grateful for the people in my life, the beautiful souls that are striving for greatness. Do you ever wonder what kind of a person you are? I found the best way to discover that is to stop looking in the mirror and start being the best you can be. this is the Path to  Enlightenment.


on that note, I wanted to share some exciting news. A dear friend and I are starting a business to raise money to teach art to students in schools that cannot afford an art program. We are currently drafting designs for these lovely earrings. We want to make them simple enough that we can teach the kids to make them too. It would be amazing to raise enough money to have the opportunity to work with the kids.  If anyone has any ideas for earring design, I'd love to take them in to account too. I know this website is a wealth of artists, just waiting to share their knowledge and ideas, so if you care to.. I'd love to see other ideas.
