Overcome challenges and innovate

Building a better future

Ridecell fosters a culture of relentless curiosity, innovation, and uncommon ambition. We never stop learning or working to understand the challenges customers face. Our experience, our passion, and our humanity all come together to keep us focused on our mission.

Ridecell LLC was started by Aarjav Trivedi, Dave Kaufman, and Prof./Dr. Steve Dickerson as a demand-response mobility service, which ran from a Georgia Tech dispatch room. Aarjav & ArunKumar Elangovan wrote the first version of the Ridecell software & Bhumi Shah spearheaded Quality & Customer Success after inception. Building on this success, Ridecell started offering its technology to other top universities, as well as to multiple city transit agencies.

Ridecell, Inc. was incorporated in 2011 by Aarjav Trivedi as the Founder and CEO with ArunKumar Elangovan serving as the co-founding CTO.

2019

While there were many critical milestones and key developments along the way, a sea change moment began as the company prioritized refining and enhancing technologies to enable original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and shared mobility providers to fully automate their operations. Building on prior advances and always looking for opportunity to learn and grow with customers, Ridecell solutions continued the process of becoming automotive grade. And as autonomous vehicle technologies progressed rapidly, Ridecell quickly recognized the potential of automating operations for the fleets of tomorrow.

2024

Today Ridecell powers some of the most successful fleet businesses in cities across Europe and North America, including Arval; GIG Car Share, powered by AAA NCNU; and KINTO by Toyota Sweden. Ridecell, Inc. is leading the way in the digital transformation of fleet businesses and operations. Fleet automation and mobility solutions built on Ridecell 360 modernize and monetize fleets by combining data insights with digital vehicle control to turn today’s manual processes into automated workflows. And with a growing team of 150 professionals in offices around the globe, we’re just getting started.
