2. File Transfer over MQTT

3. SparkplugB support in Rule Engine
   • SparkplugB is a protocol on top of MQTT. SparkplugB messages (MQTT payload) are encoded in protobuf, SparkplugB specification defines the structure of the messages.
   • We plan to implement a native support in EMQX for SparkplugB protocol defined payload to easily process the data in the rule engine.
4. New Authentication and Authorization mechanisms
   • Control permissions on QoS and Retain flags
   • Support LDAP authentication (MS Active Directory)
   • Support OAuth 2.0 authorization
   • Support SAML (Okta)
5. New Data Integrations
   • AWS Kinesis
   • GCP Pub/Sub
   • Azure EventHub
