Compose Multiplatform 1.7.0-beta02 brings in a breaking change, forcing users to move to the new Compose Resources mechanism to load resources into their applications. This issue is to track the work necessary for this transition, which should be done as soon as possible, given it's ending up in 1.7.0 stable and it impacts all our icon loading code.
