The workshop presented two of the largest projects funded under recent RFCS calls. It also examined the opportunities for other such projects under future “Big-Ticket” calls of the RFCS Research Programme. Participants heard from the European Commission about EU priorities for coal related research and why projects should be linked to a Just Transition. Project teams shared their experience on how to manage successful projects and explained the ambitious goals of their current work.
There were Q&A sessions and information on the RFCS annual calls and Big-Ticket opportunities in 2024-2025.
