Talk to people about the 529 Garage and how registering their bikes can help protect them from theft.
Test out new 529 Garage features, and give us your feedback.
Shout out 529 Garage on your social on a regular basis.
Join (or start!) a local stolen bikes online group and help by searching 529 Garage for stolen bikes, and encouraing 529 Garage registration.
Connect us with your local bike shops, schools, and police agency.
Help at or lead local registration events to register new cyclists and raise awareness about our mission.
Show people in your community the right way to lock their bikes and why it's essential to keep them secure.
Partner with local cycling clubs and advocacy groups to promote registration and build a safer, more bike-friendly community.
Test different locks and tracking devices to help us find the best options for keeping bikes safe.
Or, anything else that makes your community safer for cyclists!
While this is not a paid position, as an ambassador, you'll have perks like access to our 529 Ambassador Slack channel, where you can connect with other ambassadors, share ideas, and get support from the 529 team. We'll also provide you with a 529 Garage Ambassador kit, including stickers, and other materials to help you spread the word.
By becoming a 529 Garage Ambassador, you're joining a team that truly cares about protecting bikes and supporting cyclists. Together, we can put an end to bike theft and make our streets a better place for all riders.
Want to get started? Tell us a little about yourself and how you'd like to help. We'll get back to you soon with more information.
