Bio

I am a university student passionate about literature, programming, and graphic design. I am Venezuelan and a native Spanish speaker. I have been using WordPress since 2016 to experiment and develop ideas related to my interests in education, research, and content creation. I started with WordPress 5.0, although I had known it since version 2. I am a single father of a wonderful daughter, a draftsman, and very interested in scientific research in all its forms, from literary research and social research to space research.

Interests

I am a native Spanish speaker and I am passionate about literature, particularly in the genres of fantasy, fiction, and magical realism. I enjoy reading both contemporary and classic authors, and I have a strong interest in literary research.
Illustration and graphic design are also significant passions of mine. I use programs like Photoshop to create retouches, edits, advertisements, and vector illustrations. Designing characters, logos, and photography are activities I thoroughly enjoy.
Programming and web development are additional interests of mine. I primarily work with JavaScript, but I also have knowledge of Bash and Python, as I am a Linux user.
Moreover, I have a keen interest in astronomy and general research. I am always eager to learn new things and share my knowledge with others.
Finally, I am dedicated to education. I serve as a professor of Language and Literature at the Pedagogical Experimental University of Libertador in Barquisimeto. Teaching and creating educational resources are activities that I find particularly rewarding.
In summary, I am a creative, curious, and intellectually active individual with a diverse range of interests that span literature, programming, illustration, and astronomy. I continuously seek new challenges and opportunities to expand my knowledge.

WordPress Origin Story

I began my journey with WordPress in 2016, specifically in version 5.0, when the Gutenberg editor was introduced. This initial experience allowed me to install WordPress locally and experiment with the platform. However, at first, numerous bugs arose as the editor gained stability. This led me to revert to the traditional editor and temporarily dismissed my need to focus on development.
Over time, the Gutenberg editor has gained stability, and I feel very satisfied with it. Now, I not only recommend it but also teach it to others. I have focused on setting up websites with different types of content and themes, from literature and poetry to cryptocurrencies. The flexibility and design options offered by Gutenberg have allowed me to create visually appealing websites, which has been fundamental to my development as a web developer.
During this learning process, I consolidated my knowledge of basic web development languages, particularly JavaScript. My interests extend beyond technology; I am also deeply committed to education and literature. This dual focus has driven me to experiment with WordPress as a means to establish and develop new ideas that arise from my needs and research.
Currently, I am focusing on building a portfolio for web development, showcasing a solid demonstration of my WordPress development skills. My goal is to dedicate myself to this field for many years, continuously expanding my expertise and contributing to innovative projects. Although I am still a novice in development, I want to contribute the best of myself to the community, sharing my knowledge and learning from others.
In summary, my experience with WordPress and the Gutenberg editor has been a journey of learning and growth. I am more committed than ever to web development and creating innovative and attractive websites.
