Each month, we release riddles and puzzles around the world and on our store, with the first to crack the codes and find items in-game winning the month's coupon. Our hidden coupons are released on the third weekend of each month.

This gift card can only be obtained by one lucky player and is hidden well. We have used locations which are especially easily accessible for players this month!

Each gift card can only be obtained once and will give the player who finds it $5.00 to spend for free on our store! Owned coupons can be checked in /me and are valid for 6 months from release. These can be used to purchase items from our store and also lower the price you have to pay for items.

The player who found the coupon first last month cannot participate in this month's hidden coupon hunt. This is to ensure that many players can have a chance at the coupon and to share rewards.

Hello everyone! The Game Designer team has prepared another mid-update patch for you all, with a focus on Quality of Life features and player requests.

Additions

• Added 131 new riddles spanning from level 66 through level 80.
• Added Street Auralocks in Griffins Hollow.
• Added purchasable Butterbrew items in The Broomsticks Inn.
• Added environmental changes to the House on the Rock.
• Added clarification on spell page mechanics when you unlock the 2nd page of spells.
• Added a clock to /me.
• Added new types of bags to the enchanted bag. - These bags were added shortly before these notes, so you may have already claimed them! You can claim them from Bizbo Bags.
• Added reminders for daily rewards and notifications when daily activities are completed.

Echoes Changes

• Added a path to the Study Hall from the Viaduct Entrance for the Echoes of the Past Quest.
• Added a clearer dialog for the professor to mention the path in the Echoes of the Past Quest.
• Added a red wool hologram to counter the fact that there was no physical node for the restart button of the Under the Castle parkour.
• Fixed a region in Broken Bridge Parkour that wasn't registering the player falling.
• Added a sign on the door of the Art Classroom for better clarity during the search for the Echo in that room.
• Casting Signum in Echoes' Mazes resets the timer
• Help Particles will now be activated automatically after the Echoes of the Past Part 1 Quest - - Players who have already completed the quest will need to activate it manually.

Hello everyone!

With PotterworldMC having passed the decade-old milestone, a lot has changed over the years and our rules have also evolved throughout this time. We realise that certain parts of our rules have become a grey area, and have been reviewing these sections against topics within both our own gameplay and within large movie franchises. We have made several revisions to the topics that we allow. While this sounds like a big change, we already follow a lot of this standard and hope that this clarity can be helpful going forwards. Here's a few of the key changes:

• We've updated several of our rules to be more appropriate for this newly-defined standard. We strongly encourage you to check these out here, as all players will still be expected to follow these going forward.
• Since the release of LabyMod 4, we've had several requests to review the possibility of allowing LabyMod Voice Chat on the server. We have decided to accept this suggestion, and enable this add-on going forwards. Please be aware that PotterworldMC has no control over the moderation of the voice chats, so it is used entirely at your own risk. Any breaches of LabyMod rules should be reported directly to LabyMod.

As always, the Prefect Team are always available for any questions or concerns regarding our server rules. Please feel free to reach out to them by submitting a website support ticket. As September begins, we are excited to announce the winner of last month's giveaway, as well as announce this month's new prompt!

In August, we had so many incredible pieces of art submitted that fit the beach activities theme. From adorable comics to impressive renders, our artist community outdid themselves once again! To reiterate, the Monthly Art Giveaway is a way for players to create any art form (MC build, render, drawing, writing, craft, etc.) while fitting a specific theme. One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive a $5.00 Gift Card and 100 House Points!

With the Butterbrew Event well underway, we thought it fitting for this month's prompt to follow the theme of carnivals! This can be related to our very own event, your experiences at carnivals in the non-magical world, and much more!

With the Butterbrew Festival well underway, we are excited to reveal the details of our upcoming Barrel Racing Tournament.

How Will the Tournament Work?

Our tournament will involve a special leaderboard for the duration of the tournament. Players can earn points through placing within the top 3 in a round of Barrel Racing. At the conclusion of the tournament, the top five players on each leaderboard will win a reward! These rewards will be given at the end of the Butterbrew event.

You can view your placements for this tournament on the tournament page here or in-game in by NPC.

The tournament will run from 12am PST on Monday August 26th, 2024, until 12am PST on Monday, September 2nd, 2024.

What Are the Rewards?

The top five players in each game’s tournament will receive the following rewards:

First Place:
