The height of the Plank Firm Natural comes in at 10 inches (the average height for modern mattresses).

We believe the only way to achieve a more firm sleep experience is to opt for the floor—an option we caution against as your body may quickly begin to feel stiff or ill from the absence of our mattress’s pressure points relief system and from the allergens and dust mites that accumulate on the floor.
The Plank Firm Natural varies in weight, starting at roughly 60 pounds for a twin to 105 pounds for a king.

The Plank Firm Natural has a breathable quilted top that covers layers of high quality foam. Each mattress layer features open cell technology—ensuring a neutral temperature environment.
On a scale of 1 to 10, the truly firm side of the Plank Firm Natural ranges from a 7.5 to a 9.5 on the firmness scale—making this mattress the firmest, flatest, and healthiest sleep on the market.
The medium firm side of the mattress ranges between a 6.5 to an 8 on the firmness scale—for when you want firmness, but don’t want to feel like you’re sleeping on the floor!
The Plank Firm Natural supports up to 950 pounds—a standard feature of all Brooklyn Bedding mattresses. However, if you are looking for a mattress built for a plus size sleeper (or a plus size couple), please consider our Titan Plus mattress, found here.
Any mattress foundation with slats no more than 4 inches apart will work well with any of our mattresses. While a mattress foundation is not necessary, please be sure that the mattress rests on a surface with minimal to no flex.

We encourage you to rotate your mattress every 6 to 8 months for optimal and sustained flatness. However, it is not necessary to flip the Plank Firm Natural—unless you wish to change the firmness level of your sleep experience.
If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you have received your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return.
Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.
Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.
Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.
