Linking your finances

Taking on any new debt is a big decision, especially when you’re doing it as a team.

If you’re approved, your credit files will be linked and future lenders may take both your scores into account before approving you for any other borrowing.

It’s also key to know that if the person you’re taking a loan with defaults on a payment or the entire loan amount, you will be responsible for the full payment amount.

What to expect on your joint loan journey

We think it is important to let you know what you will need and what you will see in your joint loan application journey.

The first applicant will need to provide the following details for both applicants;

·         Address history for last 3 years

·         Income and expenditure details.

Once they have got their quote and completed the application, we will notify the second applicant to log in online or via their mobile app into the application.  This will allow them to check and confirm they are happy and sign their documents.

When both applicants have signed the credit agreement, we will carry out some final checks and release the funds if everything is in order.
