The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Sea Pines home regarding suspicious activity at about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. According to a press release from the department, upon their arrival, officers conducted an investigation that led to the discovery of the body of a deceased male underneath the residence. Mass. The body is scheduled to undergo an autopsy by the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday, Aug. 27, to "determine the manner of death, as well as positively identify the decedent."
