Daisy Edgar-Jones blows away fans with her ‘Twisters’ promo outfits
She’s blown us away.
Daisy Edgar Jones has rocked one head-turning look after the next on her whirlwind promotional tour for the “Twisters” remake this summer, and her outfits are just as buzzy as the hot new movie.
Whether it’s a glamorous Gucci gown or a fiery red mini, the “Normal People” star has posed up a storm on the red carpet to promote the action flick starring Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos.
Stylist Dani Michelle — who has worked with stars like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber — is responsible for Edgar-Jones’ recent wardrobe, sharing many a snapshot of her work on Instagram in recent months.

CinemaCon 2024
Egar-Jones kicked off the “Twisters” tour in April, speaking with co-stars Ramos and Powell at a Universal Pictures and Focus Features Presentation during CinemaCon 2024.
For the event, the star rocked a black tube top and gray pencil skirt with floral details from Italian label Giada. She paired the look with black pumps, wearing just a pair of geometric earrings in terms of accessories.
Canadian tuxedo
The “War of the Worlds” actress wore a denim-on-denim Gucci look to promote her new flick, posing in a picture her stylist, Michelle, posted on Instagram April 12.
In the photo, she rocked an oversized long-sleeved denim top with Gucci jean shorts and a thin logo belt ($420), adding a simple white ribbed top underneath.
Beige babe
The celebrity stylist shared another pic of her client on April 19, with Edgar-Jones posing against a wall in a baggy Philosophy blazer and matching high-waisted trousers. She sported a coordinating beige bra top underneath the neutral ensemble and wore her hair down in loose waves.
Ready for action
The “Where the Crawdads Sing” actress looked prepared for storm-chasing with her co-stars while wearing a rather utilitarian Saint Laurent jumpsuit ($5,730 $2,950) at an April promo event. She teamed the baggy khaki piece — which featured cargo pockets and a webbed belt — with pointy pumps.
Playsuit promo
She stuck to the khaki theme in a Max Mara playsuit while posing for a pic on Michelle’s Instagram account July 10.
The tan outfit — which she wore to a June 21 promo event — featured a bib front and two deep pockets, and she wore it cinched with a black belt. The “Twister” star finished off the look with $430 By Far black slingbacks and gold earrings.
Shorts by the sea
Edgar-Jones hit Miami for another promo shot shared by Michelle, wearing a pair of crisp Camilla and Marc Bermuda shorts with a $20 tube top by Garage while posing by the ocean. She added a pair of chic python-print Khaite heels ($980), black Gucci sunglasses, gold Mega Stair earrings ($296) and a simple black leather belt from The Row ($595).
Summer whites
The actress wowed in a look right off the Elie Saab spring/summer 2024 runway for her next event, wearing a white lace bra top with matching wide-legged pants. She wrapped a long white scarf around her neck for extra drama, keeping the rest of her look simple with the exception of a sleek bangle bracelet.
Red-hot nights
The “Albion” star made a statement in a red Schiaparelli minidress for a “Twisters” screening in Miami July 3, wearing a shift dress with strategically placed gold buttons on the chest. She wore gold-trimmed white Schiaparelli pumps with the look, carrying a furry wrap in her hand and wearing chunky gold knotted earrings by the same designer.
European premiere
Edgar-Jones wowed in a drapey brown gown at the European premiere of “Twisters” in London on July 8. She wore a custom Vivienne Westwood gown for the event, with the flowy style featuring a high slit and dramatic train along with a black scarf detail trailing down from her shoulder.
The actress paired the dress with black pumps and gold Cartier jewelry, wearing her hair down in a sleek straight style.
London blues
The “Cold Feet” star sported a gathered navy Victoria Beckham dress for a photocall in London the following day, with the safety-pinned design hailing from the designer’s fall 2024 collection. She wore sheer black tights and black slingback pumps by Paris Texas with the fashion-forward frock.
Daisy does Dallas
The movie star wore another denim ensemble while visiting Dallas in July, sporting a Coperni jacket ($1,080) with notched lapels along with a matching wrap jean skirt ($450) from the brand. Edgar-Jones added an edgy twist to her look with a pair of white Gucci loafers covered in silver studs.
Custom on the carpet
The “Pond Life” actress looked sleek in a white column gown for the “Twisters” premiere in Los Angeles July 11, showing off a custom Gucci piece with a high slit on the dust-themed red carpet.
Edgar-Jones — who wore her hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail — teamed the chic style with Tiffany & Co. jewelry including a bold arm cuff, gold earrings and a chunky ring.
Ab-fab
She showed off her toned tummy in a two-piece brown outfit by Acne Studios while attending Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project Block Party on the Universal Studios Backlot July 13. Edgar-Jones promoted “Twisters” in the snake-print set — which hailed from the designer’s spring 2024 runway — wearing the crop top and maxi skirt with gold earrings.
Back to Oklahoma
Edgar-Jones returned to Oklahoma —where “Twisters” was filmed — for a special premiere on July 15, sporting a Givenchy look from the designer’s fall 2024 collection. The silver mini featured a swirly pattern and knotted detail at the bustline along with a small train, and she wore matching silver pumps by Le Silla.
Peplum parade
The British star rocked a leggy look in a photo on Michelle’s Instagram account July 16, wearing a tan peplum top from the Christopher Esber spring ’24 runway with a pair of tiny black Magda Butrym hot pants ($865 $433). She repeated the Khaite heels she wore in Miami with the outfit and wore her hair in soft curls.
Va-va Victoria
Edgar-Jones wore another bold look to chat with the ladies of “The View” on July 18, sporting a structural minidress by Victoria Beckham.
The neutral piece wouldn’t have looked out of place in an otherworldly film, with the dress forming a heart shape thanks to a padded tube across the bodice. She accessorized her TV-ready ‘fit with nude lace-up sandals, chunky silver hoops and black Velvet Canyon sunglasses.
True-blue
The same day, Edgar-Jones wore an ethereal blue outfit by Chloé as she walked through the Big Apple with a coffee in hand.
The star wore a sheer ruffle-trimmed silk top ($3,250) featuring a cutout midsection that bared her toned abs, pairing it with a blue bra top underneath. She sported a matching maxi skirt, tall tan boots and a chunky gold necklace from the French brand along with gold hoop earrings ($164) from her stylist’s jewelry brand, Mega.
