Rain Pryor, daughter of comedy legend Richard Pryor, takes on her dad and other topics in her autobiographical stage show, “Fried Chicken and Latkes.”
The solo show, revamped with director Kamilah Forbes, will play at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park City on Wednesday.
Rain, a star of the ’80s ABC sit-com “Head of the Class,” does a “spot-on” impersonation of Pryor, we hear, and tackles issues from his drug abuse to the multiple sclerosis that claimed his life in 2005 — as well as her own African-American and Jewish upbringing. She also sings.
The show is being filmed for an “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” episode.
