I finally went to Perfume's live concert yesterday at Tokyo Dome and it was a blast~!For the uninitiated, Tokyo Dome is a 50,000+ capacity stadium and they somehow managed to sell out all the tickets. I presume most were bought by resellers in order to make a few bucks. Apparently they were the second female group to perform there with the first being SPEED.The main stage was located in the center of the field and my seat was quite near the stage. It was close enough to make out their faces but nearer would've been better of course. XDWithout further ado, I'll give the rest of the highlights in point form to spare you from my fanboy rambli...

Not too sure whether any of you have tried to buy concert tickets in Japan but it is a rather frustrating experience if you actually want to choose good seats.The thing about concerts in Japan is that all tickets are sold at the SAME PRICE regardless of how far or near the stage is. Unlike Singapore, if you want to sit in the first few rows all you have to do is buy the most expensive tickets and you're guaranteed a seat in the first few rows.Then in Japan, most of the good seats automatically go to the "fan club" members so the remaining seats that go on sale to the public aren't really good seats even if you hang around outside a conveni...

How I knew about Fuji-Q highland was because on July 23rd they opened an exhibit showcasing a 1:1 scale bust of Evangelion Unit-01.I was sort of interested in heading down to have a look till I found that it cost 2,500yen ONE WAY via train to get there so I decided to give it a pass.Fast forward a couple of months later I'm on a bus, on my way to Fuji-Q with a couple of classmates armed with a "free pass" ticket.Just for some general knowledge, Fuji-Q highland is an independently run theme park which opened back in 1961.
