Case Study: Softech
A VPN Connection That Won’t Leave You Hanging
Softech is a global technology company that provides a variety of software solutions to airports, weather, environmental, and transportation entities. First established in 1991, the company virtually supervises, monitors, and measures everything that is in motion, as well as the resulting effects — including noise, pollution, traffic, and much more. The Softech group has a strong international presence with activities from Milan to Bangkok, and from Jeddah to Rio de Janeiro.
The Challenge
Due to the nature of their work, Softech employees needed to connect remotely with customers through the internet — with assurance that there would be no connectivity issues or dropped connection. But as the owner explained, “We used to use a modem connection, but it was very slow and had a lot of security and connectivity problems. We needed a better and stronger connection to allow the company to grow.” The company couldn’t grow the way they needed as long as their remote solution kept leaving them (and their customers) hanging.
The firm needed a new solution that would allow them to provide prompt support to its customers — and they needed it to be reliable, affordable, and easy to use.
