To date, Boeing employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help the people of Hawaii recover from the wildfires.
That is in addition to the original $500,000 donation from the Boeing Charitable Trust toward relief efforts.

Boeing donates $500,000 to support relief efforts in Hawaii
The $500,000 donation from the Boeing Charitable Trust will assist those impacted by the recent wildfire that devastated Maui. Funding will go to the following organizations:
- $250,000 for American Red Cross to maintain shelters for those seeking refuge and provide comfort kits, clean-up kits, nourishing meals, information and other resources.
- $250,000 for Hawaiʻi Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund to provide shelter, food, grief support and more to impacted communities.
Why it matters: Disaster relief efforts align with Boeing’s ongoing commitment to the communities where Boeing employees live and work.
- Boeing employs 151 people in Hawaii. Previous to this donation, Boeing has contributed more than $760,000 to charitable causes there over the past five years.
