Update: Employees open their hearts, wallets for Hawaii

Boeing employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help Hawaii recover from wildfires.

To date, Boeing employees, including the company match, have donated more than $405,689 to help the people of Hawaii recover from the wildfires. 

That is in addition to the original $500,000 donation from the Boeing Charitable Trust toward relief efforts.

Boeing donates $500,000 to support relief efforts in Hawaii

The $500,000 donation from the Boeing Charitable Trust will assist those impacted by the recent wildfire that devastated Maui. Funding will go to the following organizations: 

Why it matters: Disaster relief efforts align with Boeing’s ongoing commitment to the communities where Boeing employees live and work. 

  • Boeing employs 151 people in Hawaii. Previous to this donation, Boeing has contributed more than $760,000 to charitable causes there over the past five years.

How employees can help: As part of the Boeing Gift Match program, Boeing will match employees’ monetary donations to eligible charities dollar for dollar. Visit Boeing’s employee community engagement portal, YourCause, for a list of organizations supporting the region.
