Overview

The annual NIH Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (BSSR) Festival is organized by OBSSR and the NIH Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Coordinating Committee (BSSR-CC).

The festival highlights a diverse range of outstanding research from across the NIH Institutes and Centers, offering a comprehensive view of the latest NIH-funded BSSR projects and their impact in biomedical research.

This year’s festival will include:

  • A keynote panel on artificial intelligence and BSSR
  • A fireside chat with NIH Director Monica M. Bertagnolli and OBSSR Director Jane M. Simoni
  • A dedicated hour of networking at the start of each conference day
  • Exhibits from offices across the Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI)
  • Opportunities to learn more about DPCPSI activities and co-funding priorities
