Overseas basketball is rooted in the veteran’s hooping history, as he kicked off his career playing in Ukraine, Russia and Greece.

Beverley hinted at his next move on Monday.

He wrote on X that he’s “weighing his options between an NBA Vet Minimum contract and a HISTORIC contract in Europe.”

He played with the Milwaukee Bucks last season.

The pinnacle of his career was during his stints with the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers between 2012-2021.

He made three All-Defensive teams, including a first-team nod with the Rockets in 2016-17.

After 666 regular-season games, Beverley is putting those days behind him.

His new club, Hapoel Tel Aviv BC, was founded in 1935 and has seen recent success.

Competing in the Israeli Premier League – and EuroCup Basketball – the team climbed to a second-place finish through the 2024 season with a record of 18-6.

Hapoel Tel Aviv BC also rostered three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Nate Robinson in 2016.

Beverley would have begun next season in the NBA serving a four-game suspension after hurling a basketball toward two Indiana Pacers fans sitting courtside for Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.

He also refused to answer ESPN reporter Malinda Adams during an interview, as she wasn’t subscribed to his podcast.

The two actions earned him a four-game suspension heading into the 2025 season.
