By popular request, you can now choose a preset before you upload a file to your Studio. If you have two or more presets, you’ll see a new “Preset” dropdown on the upload screen, which will apply any of your preset tags, descriptions, and other settings to the deviation.
The presets feature lets you easily set defaults for each deviation you submit, saving time when uploading and submitting files. Set up different presets for when you submit photography, traditional art, adoptables, and more.

Get more as a top supporter of Exclusives!
New features have arrived to help creators and owners of Exclusives and adoptables connect even more!
If you’re new to Exclusives, they’re one-of-a-kind artworks that artists can sell and buyers can own and resell through an easy, secure, and automated system. These can be adoptables, digital art, photography, 3D art, mixed-media creations, and much more.
Showcase your fans with the Exclusives Top Supporters board!
If you offer Exclusives and have sold Exclusives to at least three different deviants, you can now see the Top Supporters board in the Exclusives tab when viewing the Shop section of your profile.
This board shows up to 10 of your top supporters, who are owners or resellers of your Exclusives, ordered based on the total value of their purchases and the number of transactions they’ve made in a given time period.
You can also install the Top Supporters section to the Home tab of your profile, to show appreciation for deviants who support you!

Seniority Announcement: January 2025 by team, journal
Seniority Announcement: January 2025
Seniority has been a cornerstone of DeviantArt since its early years and is an award given to those who have made their mark on the community. These outstanding deviants have been recognized for their level of interaction, helpfulness with others, kindness, sincerity, and many other notable traits. These deviants can be recognized by the medal icon that appears next to their username, and in 24 years, fewer than 2,000 deviants have received Seniority.
The following deviants, having shown a kindred spirit that has led to continued positive community interaction and involvement, are the most recent recipients of Seniority. Please join us in congratulating them!
Known for her generosity and dedication, Anastasia-berry shares an impressive number of tutorials and resources to help fellow artists hone their skills. My Name by gallindz, literature
Literature
My Name
in Italian means clean-
in Spanish and Portuguese beautiful.
Once filling up my tank with gas
the attendant from Brazil,
with a smile that made the sun
appear said, Ah “Leenda”… beautiful-
did you know that?
and I didn’t, but for that moment
I could speak Moon fluently and
felt so light I had to hold onto the steering wheel to
keep my body from sailing away to a foreign country.
I thanked him for telling me and sometimes
I think of that compliment, if that’s what it was…
but in German it stems from the word Lind
which means tender, and my mom, she was German
and I always thought she named me for the
famous song from 1945 but I’d rather think it was
for tender, not beautiful
because tender is how I remember
the skin on her face, on my face
when we hugged.

Question for the Past by PrRailgun, literature
Literature
Question for the Past
Have I seen the sycamore tree
as it dances in the breeze? Perhaps,
I note where they stand and dare see
them every day, but their names lapse
into vague words lost on the page.
Wonder that turns through memories
of youth and old. I have seen sage,
I know that much. Some reveries
certainly flicker up of time
spent among them. Usually
with the desert, too. As a climb
recalls the pines who causally
hug the mountain sides high, reaching
up until the air is little.
To tree line. A sort of teaching
on limits to mind. Yet, whittle
the hand might do to pass the light,
yes, on an aspen branch now trash.
By fire light, the knife dances in night
carving a thing that will be ash
before the stars can vanish fast.
Yet, have I seen a sycamore,
perhaps, maybe it was that vast
branch work nestled right near the door.
That strange tree sadly cut and lost
which lived by my grandfather's place.
Hard to say, who can say. It crossed
that strange line and fell out of space.
