On Saturday 26 October, Georgian citizens voted in Parliamentary elections. The EU has been following the developments leading to the parliamentary elections closely. Over the past months, the people of Georgia have demonstrated their attachment to democratic values and their country's EU path.
Dear Borjana, Thank you so much for having me and hosting me again in Sarajevo. And thank you very much for accompanying me yesterday to the region that has been hit so hard by the devastating floods. I, first of all, want to extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will start a four-day trip to the Western Balkans tomorrow, where she will meet with the leaders of Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro.
