The Raconteurs

Detroit garage rock band The Raconteurs feature dual frontmen Jack White and Brendan Benson, who are backed by former Greenhornes Patrick Keeler and Jack Lawrence. ∙ The Raconteurs’ debut single, 2006’s “Steady As She Goes,” was a worldwide hit, earning the band a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. ∙ Broken Boy Soldiers, their debut LP, was named Mojo magazine’s Album of the Year in 2006. ∙ A Top 10 hit in both the US and the UK, their 2008 sophomore album, Consolers of the Lonely, earned the band their first Grammy Award. ∙ In 2010, Benson and Keeler toured under the name The Racontwoers, playing reworked versions of Raconteurs songs. ∙ Following a decade-long hiatus, The Raconteurs returned with 2019’s Help Us Stranger, which became their first album to top the Billboard 200.
