Snoop Dogg Video Essentials
Apple Music
As one of West Coast rap’s earliest style icons and charming lotharios, Snoop Dogg cemented his slick persona and sartorial aesthetic through his MTV presence in the mid-’90s. In the visuals for his formative solo singles (“Who Am I”, “Gin and Juice”), Snoop brought his verses’ hard-boiled street scenes to life. He later adopted a less scrappy presentation, sporting loud dress wear and spitting game from expensive vehicles, the club and Katy Perry’s risqué version of Candyland (“California Gurls”).
