White Lies

About White Lies

Initially known as Fear of Flying, the English alternative rock act White Lies rose to prominence in 2008, garnering much buzz in the British music press with their brooding Interpol-like sound. Fronted by charismatic, deep-voiced singer/guitarist Harry McVeigh, the band wear their Joy Division/Echo & the Bunnymen influences on their dark collective sleeve, as evinced on their 2009 full-length debut, TO LOSE MY LIFE..., which topped the U.K. album charts upon its release.
