About CNCO
The heir to Menudo's boy-band throne, Latin-pop ensemble CNCO was formed in 2015 during the finale of Univision reality competition show La Banda. Created by record executive Simon Cowell and produced by pop superstar Ricky Martin, the show brought together singers Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Zabdiel De Jesús, Christopher Vélez and Joel Pimentel to foster the next Latin American pop supergroup. And it worked. The band's debut album, Primera Cita, was produced by reggaetón legend Wisin, yielding early hits “Tan Fácil” and “Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)”, the latter getting the remix treatment with vocals from girl group Little Mix. CNCO gained immediate heartthrob status; touring in more than a dozen countries, releasing a beloved covers LP titled Déjà Vu in 2021, and eventually collaborating with Latin-pop royalty Kenia OS, Manuel Turizo and NATTI NATASHA. At the peak of the band's popularity, CNCO announced its disbandment in 2023, promising solo records and more effervescent pop that will keep diehard fans delighted.
