Jack Stauber

About Jack Stauber

Genre-bending singer and songwriter Jack Stauber began his rise to internet prominence after launching a YouTube channel in April 2013—a couple of weeks after he released his first solo album, Finite Form, and a few days before he turned 17. • Stauber got started fronting the groove-rock band Joose as a teenager in Western Pennsylvania. Founded in 2012, the group released a self-titled album in 2015. • While attending the University of Pittsburgh, Stauber was part of the indie-pop band Zaki, which released a self-titled LP in 2018. • Stauber has said he developed his unconventional vocal style by singing a lot in the shower. • In addition to writing and recording his own music, Stauber is an animator who makes cartoon shorts that he posts online. His animations have also appeared on Adult Swim.
