About Inhaler

Dublin indie quartet Inhaler was formed in 2012—while all four members were just entering their teens—and is fronted by singer/guitarist Elijah Hewson, son of U2’s Bono. ∙ The band self-released their Madchester-indebted debut single, “I Want You,” in 2017. ∙ Former Pulp member (and Hewson family friend) Antony Genn invited them to record their 2019 single “Ice Cream Sundae” in his studio. ∙ Inhaler has toured extensively with Blossoms and opened for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. ∙ Critics voted Inhaler No. 5 on BBC’s Sound of 2020 poll, and the band also made The NME 100: Essential New Artists for 2020 list.
