Each of the five tracks on the eponymous Kwon Ji Yong EP gives us a glimpse into the personality of the artist behind G-DRAGON. The first two, both hip-hop bangers, reflect a star feeling secure in his place in the international pop world. The latter three reveal a more human side: stark piano ballad "Untitled, 2014" is the most intimate moment of G-D's career, and it finds him mourning a lost relationship; "SUPER STAR" pries into the singer's loneliness; while "Divina Commedia" ends things like a journal entry, as G-DRAGON reflects on nearly an entire lifetime spent pursuing music.
